... are used. Took the tour, sampled the young lambic as well as the Gueze, excellent as
expected. Bummed that they were out of the Faro, as that was my target, but bought a Framboise instead and was not disappointed. Grabbed the obligatory t-shirt, and we were on our way.
Got a nice history lesson as we walked, and saw several comic murals on our route. Among other things, Belgium is famous for comic strips and Brussels is ...

See the photo of their research facility...Then drove to Brussels where we enjoyed a last meal at Kapiteintje with Chris before he left for Ghent. I had the garlic scampi. I didn't realize it would be the last time I'd see Chris for a long ...

... was a short ferry ride across the river, which the instructions tell you ( as you get there and not in advance) that the ferry breaks at 12:30 for lunch.  Needless to say, we arrived just in time to miss the final crossing, and watched as the two ferry workers closed the gate and told us they were off to lunch. We did manage to catch the second ferry needed to cross the canal, which was a good thing because there was no nearby alternative to the ferry.  I the town of ...
