... the center create a natural, cold-water jacuzzi. After seeing a snake and hearing that the river had gators, Victor was comparing our trip to an episode of Running Wild with Bear Gryllis and wasn't all that keen on swimming. Warnings about high numbers of ticks and chiggers made both of us think limiting outdoor time would be prudent. We did look for the balancing rock formation. ... preserve" - no alligators but lots of birdlife. We stopped at a marina/ vacation rental cottages where Jim and Sue had stayed In the past. Took a picture of Rick beside a funky tree. Then we rode to the very tip of Captiva - a beach area. Nearby is a restaurant/bar called the "Mucky Duck" - great place to see sunsets. By this time it was getting on so we "booted" it home - arrived home 5:30ish. We rode almost 60 km! A great day but we were tired when we got home ...

... off traveling to visit children and grandchildren. We actually spent very little time in Bowling Green other than going to work.
In a nut shell we are so happy to spend our retirement together traveling the country while we have been blessed with good health and supportive children. We are also excited about the long list of family and friends that have been following our travelblog.

... back to Manila it all came together and she got to the other side where she would undo it all at her new place. Even though it was a lot of work, we did get to try all the restaurants we never went to the whole time she lived there.
