The next photo is of me with an artillery shell from the USS Alabama. My caption needs a bit of explanation, though. I DO own a WWII practice shell that's about 20" tall. I call it my "bullet," and bought it at a yard sale some years ago. So . . . this bullet is bigger than mine.

... so off we went - and tonight is their live music night. The ambiance in that place is fabulous, and the local couple who provided the music were excellent. Larry requested a Tina Turner song, "What's Love Got to Do With It?" and the girl had never sung it before, but agreed to give it a try. ... into the hot tub. Mina will be delighted to know that he really LOVED it, and plans to go back. Mina, I told him that when you win the lottery, you're going to get us a hot tub . . . and he wants one as big as the one at the Plantation.

D'you suppose I'll learn to do this right before we leave? I have one more photo to add. Ali went out to love Maui and feed him, and she sent me a photo. She said Maui has NEVER been that loving before. She called me while she and her friend Meranda were there. It really helped my feelings - thanks, Kiddo.
... and very thankful for the opportunity to meet each of the new brethren I met each day. Not only did I meet new people, I also met three new divers, and heard of three more who were in attendance!
Next year we are hoping to organize a group dive. Daniel and I are part of a dive group back home, and I think it would be marvelous to maintain a Church dive group, to add a new dimension to a "judgement free" sport. God opens doors when we least expect it.
