Saturday morning, we went to Simon's house for coffee and another goodbye, then took off for the Gold Coast in shocking weather. Luckily we got onto the Gateway Motorway and travelled all the way to the Gold Coast without a stop. At some stages, we could hardly see 100 metres in front of us.
