    ... I don't do this one as I have a legitimate reason for not doing it. So as they all wait in line, not long today, less than 20minutes, I find the tavern across the road has an old friend of mine, Heineken, so I people watch and sip my pint. They come out way too early. So I sent them back again. Mum suggests the tavern seat where I have perched myself is a good position, and heads off to get some nutritional lunch, if that is what a hotdog is...

    ... that was enough exploring for a bit. I deserve a break.' So I went and laid on the beach, opened my book and read for a little over an hour, all while enjoying the sun and warmth.     Heavy rain again last night, this is becoming a habit! Anyway today we drive back to Cairns for our return trip to the family in Brisbane.     ... a bit behind on the blogs at the moment because we have been on holiday. After the gems, we went back to the coast and the stretch between here and Brisbane has got a real holiday feel to it. We spent a lot of time on the beach.
