Today we set off from what was to be our last glimpse of France for a couple of weeks. Zipping down some B roads shortly after leaving I noticed a flashing from behind - what was Grimley trying to tell me?? I pulled over expecting to see some duct tape peeling off the top box that needed replaced but to my surprise it seemed that Tinkerbell had developed a new problem - yes today's issue, she had decided, was to eject the tail light from her backside! There it was, hanging by a ...

Bolognese sauce. It was such a lovely time-just a small group of friends
enjoying a long, leisurely, fantastic meal and admiring the sunset over the

... me s******ing at a piece of 'art' and getting a very angry look from a French man, it's maybe just as well we didn't go inside! There's a funicular railway that takes you to the top of a small mountain on the edge of Bilbao. We went at twilight and got some beautiful views of the city below. The lights were beginning to twinkle and the distant mountains were lined with a haze of orange from the setting sun. For dinner we got Domino's pizza ...

"Stepping on Basque soil for the very first time, knowing a new culture and meeting new faces. An industrialized city, of color and beauty, filled with art and culture and sun and good vibes. Walking along through the streets of Bilbao, going along through its hills, catching the sunset, catching the sun rays. It's wonderful to meet the different nationalities that set foot on this soil, all with the same eagerness to explore this colourful surroundings. I am glad ...
