... trails where we can walk. We spent about 45mins hiking and returned to the house. That evening, we had BBQ and that was a massive project. The food preparation alone was an enormous task and the cleaning up... Geez... That was an even greater task. The cleaning of the cutleries and plates and doesn't seem to end! The dirty plates just keeps coming and coming! It was like operating a mini restaurant kitchen! Haha... But the company was good. ...

... catch-ups with relatives done in one day, we were starting to feel like it had paid off doing the long drive to the coast to see them as I had only seen them once or twice in 20 years.

We drove back to our accommodation and watched TV, drank tea and ate some dessert-ey things. Before going to bed, we did a basic packup so that in the morning we could just load up the car and go.

... for a coffee. The beach and coffee shops were doing great business on a lovely sunny day. While many people were enjoying the sunshine, some were even brave enough to venture in for a swim. Further off shore, standup paddlers were wobbling along while even further out, surfers were catching waves as they curled around the headland at Boiling Pot in the Noosa National Park. We walked back to the apartment and enjoyed some of our market purchases ...

... I remembered the name natural bridge as it was an alternate route from lismore to Coolangatta...yes I was heading south back into NSW..... Lol. Luckily enough it was only about 14 km as the crow flys in the wrong direction. So turned around and enjoyed the witch backs and bends in the other direction.. Made it to the highway and thought it was safer to stick to that for a while. Big green signs reading Brisbane... That's what I wanted... Some parts of the ...

... Kiama. We thought we might have dodged it due to us being a bit later than peak hour, but alas it was not to be :(. We were stuck in an 8km traffic jam that added an extra hour to our trip.
