... people. Grace made a special carrot cake that doesn't use sugar (since she doesn't eat processed sugar, so instead she used honey - oh the cake was perfectly moist). Ben brought rotisserie chicken. Alana made fish and also made salad with Annalou. Edwina, Ed, and Maria (the family) made tacos (super yummy!). Then I made a little speech just to wish Chris, Brooke, and Edwina&family all the best in their travels because it was their last night. ...

After a good night's sleep & free breakfast at the hotel, the concierge was gracious enough to call our rental car company for us who sent the car and a representative to our hotel to meet us. We processed all of our paperwork in the lobby and were on our way by 10:30am.

[Costa Rica is on Central Standard Time like Pensacola so no changing of the watches required.]

I paid extra, much to Andrew's chagrin, to rent a GPS for the car which he says ...

... 3 hour visit and then back to Jaco.

After that, I had lunch... A couple of beers... Came to the hostel and took a nice shower... took a nap... then a little bit of Internet browsing and later on, some more beer. I also bought my first American 1 litter Diet Coke (large bottle) ($1,400 C / $2.80 US). Somehow, that was the ONLY thing to have bar none and so I did. ...

After a three hour visit to Manuel Antonio Beach, we were saying ‘adios’ with handshakes and hugs to Jose’ Luis and his snow cones, and Maryfe who provided comfortable accommodations.

... on our work projects. We were supposed to paint but unfortunately the weather didn't hold up so we all got put on grounds duty. We all became certified landscapers today :). We planted plants, picked up brush, dug a trench, mowed the lawn and empty wheelbarrow after wheelbarrow of leaves.
