Another (quite) smooth 2 hour flight took us to Buenos Aires. For some reason I feel quite nervous when I am arriving into the big cities, not knowing what to expect, stories (good and bad) I've been told, "advice" I've been given... There are many districts in BA, a bit like in London. We decided to stay in San Telmo for the first few nights. This is the bohemian district, and is right near the centre. Our stop in Colonia this time was to visit a bank, use wifi, return the car to the port and catch our ferry back to Buenos Aires....rough waters this time so a more cowboyish style excursion. We enjoyed conversation with a couple from Canada who were now living in France as the boat bobbed on the ...

Bienvenido a Buenos Aires

... while waiting for them to continue the boarding process (as expected, they returned to the beginning of the groups so we had time). She was flying to Buenos Aires from Connecticut for a mental health conference. Aspiring to be a psychologist, Amanda Hope this would give her some beneficial contacts for the future. Her addiction to traveling, like me, also drive her to attend. Finally it is our turn to board and, no surprise, she has problems since her ticket already had ...
