Just at about an hour later, we were done at the dentist’s and off to San Telmo. San Telmo is the quaintest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, complete with cobblestone streets and plenty of antique stores. It was originally inhabited by the elite families of Buenos Aires who fled during the yellow fever outbreak of 1871. Today, it is a melting pot of cultures with a gritty feel.

We are getting used to the lifestyle here in Argentina - everything is done later than we are used to, breakfast is served until 11 at the hotel, lunch is later - usually around 3, and supper then is not until 10 or 11. Tonite is the earliest we have gotten back to the hotel, and it was just before 1am, usually it has been around 2:30.

After our Delta tour we went to a public K - 6 school that the Grand Circle Foundation helps support. It is in Buenos Aires and is comparable to a Title 1 school in the US since 80% of the children get two meals a day. A child met each of us and took us by the hand to tour the school.
