    ... I felt like I had stepped back in time. There were no other houses, cars or people in sight only lots of lovely animals. The dog Deuce and goat came up to the verandah to greet us and Freddie was immediately entertained...thank God! The donkeys, horses, goats and sheep all came to the fence to be fed every evening. It was so nice to see the kids enjoy really simple things such as feeding the animals. Freddie I think could even make a good farmer! We decided to check out ...

    Defuniak Springs is close to Pensacola. I rode US 331 south to US 98 West through Miramar Beach, Destin and Fort Walton Beach to Pensacola.     We are spending more time hanging out at home, and as a consequence, are getting acquainted with our neighbors. The casual atmosphere is non-threatening to casual conversations.
