That night we got pizza and sat outside for ages and had possums scurrying around in the trees and massive fruit bats flying in the sky. ... dragging myself from the covers I took a walk down to the supermarket, caffeined and nicotined up, to do some food shopping. After making myself an exceedingly large lunch of beans and scrambled eggs on toast I made the long walk to the towns Koala hospital where I was due to meet Chloe and Chris.
