      ... and lace monitor lizards which were huge. A national park walk led us to Tea Tree bay, our favourite secluded bay where Sue tried a spot of surfing. The whole national park walk which Sue and Nat did was 7km on the tangle wood path where we found a green tree snake and a variety of lizards. But no koalas :( .       ... the pelican would steal it from us. He came up really close to us too!

      We could also watch all the planes on approach to Maroochydore airport too. We saw a Jetstar A320 and even a C-17. Naomi called us just before to let us know it was coming.
