Sadly no, just long paddles that won’t break down into a suitcase.
Last chance at the random place last on our list. It was in an industrial area. As we finally arrived we saw the guy sanding down the resin on a board outside.
Our luck was in, as finally we found an aluminium reasonably priced paddle. $85 AUD, well it not too bad. So we took the paddle to add to our rendered useless paddle board.

Well we started the morning by Fred saying Lynda why don't you repack! What I said...but he was right to suggest one suitcase for Hawaii and CALABOGIE and one for the cruise. I was up the night before till midnight working on Amy's recipe book as she made me feel so bad about not having it ready as I promised. House was clean, cases were packed, notes were complete...nothing left to do...then I re packed, did wash, ...
... on any other day bar Anzac Day). We were briefed on the rules by Dave, it's a very simple gambling game, three coins are flipped into the air and you bet on heads or tails. There is a centre bet involving the person flipping the coins and side bets between the rest of the crowd. It was very entertaining to watch and we even played a few hands between ourselves, it was great fun! The amount of money changing hands was incredible!! ...
... and then coming back to our little pad for lunch.We found an Aldi supermarket around the corner and stocked up with provisions. If we ran out of anything we popped across the road. We did visit Marcoola beach where we stayed before and noted that the complex was now part of the Ramada chain. We also went to Noosa as everyone was raving about it. The town didn't do much for us as it was full of expensive designer shops and upmarket cafés. ...
