      Quiet day

... So a very easy day today as Leesh had a major turn for the worst. Stomach pains, on and off migraines and diarrhoea to top it all off. We went down and got wi-fi at a restaurant on the marina in the hope food would give Leesh a kick. But it was short lived and we were on our way back to the hotel to avoid the sun and have access to the toilet. She spent the day sleeping, going to the toilet and taking meds and water. I watched a bunch of old movies on the tv ...

... The Coral Reef restaurant was the worst food by far! Maybe just an off night? The shrimp enchiladas sounded yummy and listed about 7 ingredients. It was plain tasteless shrimp rolled up in a plain tasteless corn tortilla, no sauce. None of the other ingredients made an appearance. Were they out? They never said. No English spoken here, so it was too hard to complain about the food.
Be sure to stop by the little art shop in town. They have soaps made ...

So the surf in Cabo is a bit different than, well, a lot of places. We found this out quickly on our first walk down the beach from our hotel.

There we were, casually strolling along checking out the surf. Shane was walking closest to the water and I was trying to keep my camera dry.

Big wave breaks and knock BOTH of us on our butts. We were laughing so hard that we couldn't get up.

      So much for staying dry!

"The smell of the breeze is refreshing to my sense of smell. It brings the remembrance of the sea. Something that not often is experienced by my mind and eyes. I yearn for every minute of this ocean which amorously hugs our earth. An often desired wish, which I crave in this gray city. Happiness hits you when stepping on the sands of the coast. It welcomes you with odd and beautiful surroundings and leaves you with the memories and the burn in your skin. The sun is your blanket ...

... bean pods, and other little instruments. At one point this woman started dancing and was shaking like hippies from the 60s did, I don't know, it was just really odd and kind of weird so I played the flute for a bit and went back to my sleeping bag.

It was a really cool placed but they were kind of pushy about their ideas and such so most of us were ready to leave by morning. None the less, it was a great birthday, I only wish I could have shared it with you all!
