... is down! What??!!!! A bus has caught fire on the highway near where I'm staying and everything is in gridlock. It was going to be a hard and dodgy enough commute to the bus station using the train system (I have to change trains twice with long walks between them) but now I have to think of a quick plan B. ... Kong. Yesterday we walked around the Makati city (this is the financial district of Manila). There is a good combination of parks and malls here: you walk by the park alleys, and see shopwindows. We also visited a museum of history and art - a very nice museum. By the way, people lived on the Philippines territory hundreds thousands years ago.
Philippineans like eating, and everywhere you can find variety of restourants.
