    ... in. $1.50 for the washers and dryers. 6
    washers working, 2 out of the 6 dryers working. Clean showers and
    bathroom. Lots of full-timers and the ground itself looks quite run
    down. Someone mentioned to us that we were parked at the area where
    the skunks live to be careful going out after dusk and carry a torch.

    We played Bean Boozled. When we were in
    Wisconsin at the Jelly Belly Factory we bought the beans in packets

    ... and picked up some things including salt water taffy before heading back to our cottage in Brewster.

    We were happy to end our big day with a walk on the beach during low tide followed by fireworks.
    The next two days will be relaxing beach days. Looking forward to reading a good book.

    We then took a tour to Herring Cove, not even 3 km away, and the water was much calmer, so we thought Maeve might like a swim! However, to our extreme surprise, the water was at least 15 degrees colder. Yikes. Maeve turned on her heels, and said, let's go get ice cream! We drove along the coast and wound our way back to the campsite.

    ... Nutcracker. This is small stage production with dynamic results. The story was somewhat altered, but very forceful and well acted. We had had a reservation for dinner next door at Melissa’s, but had to cancel it because Phil’s building was having a holiday progressive dinner starting at 6.
