    ... I relished changing into some fresh clothes and headed out to the downtown area for dinner. I enjoyed walking around the streets which seemed to come alive at night with Mexican music, food stalls and markets. I went on the recommendation of Tripadvisor to PicNic which is a family run Mexican food restaurant.     ... Mayan Ruins located right on the coastline. We hired a couple of bikes and made our way down to the beach to check them out.

    This was the first ancient civilisation we could totally relate to. What better place to set up camp than pristine beachfront accommodation?

    ... be. The manager came back again, agreed to take my dish away and not charge us for it. It didn't even come with salad it was a sham. Amazing setting, great waiter service but dreadful food.     ... hostels to stay at. When she discovered that Jon was here at the hostel also, she jumped to the conclusion that we were travelling together and seemed almost envious of that fact. She talked about a German girl she had been travelling with and mourned the fact that they had gone seperate ways - suddenly she seemed vulnerable and lonely after appearing so self-assured. I found myself wondering to what extent I will crave company when I really start to move around.
