... legs and feet. So we unleashed the big black beast - we jumped into the Nissan Pulsar for a hard days driving. We only found out yesterday that this is a long weekend in Tassie. Monday is Labour Day. Explains why so much of the accommodation here has 'No Vacancy' signs up. There's also a State election this coming Saturday. ... ever had the pleasure of eating!! Then it was back to Huonville and the bottle shop where Annette stocked up on some Cab Sav and then back to Franklin. We had just unpacked the car when Brendon arrived back - he had left Jo at the hairdressers. ... a koala next, where we each got to pet it and have our pictures taken. We were then allowed to wander alone and feed the kangaroos and see the rest of the animals until we were supposed to meet at the bus. I fed a few joeys and saw the ear of a teeny baby inside one of the roo’s pouches! One large roo came up to me and ate all the rest of my feed and slobbered all over my hand, leaving wet crumbs all over my fingers. Thanks bud….

Tuesday and time for an excursion to Bruny Island for the chance to see the rugged jurassic coastline and the wildlife whilst resembling Little Red Riding Hood! Bruny Island is on the list of Tasmania "must do" trips and understandably so.
