... after an hour and we kept on our way. Had a couple of long downhill stretches of at least a couple of ks at 9-11% which were fun but as I was at the back it meant I was on the brakes the whole time which was a bit of a pain.

We left the forests and came through the dairy/farming country and started seeing more civilisation. It is amazing to think how close the remote badlands are to Hobart.

We also saw quolls, wallabies and some Cape Barren Geese having a go at each other.
They also have this dome where you crawl through a pipe and there is this clear dome in the Tassie Devils enclosure where you can get quite close to the feisty animals. We were lucky enough to experience this. It was amazing. Needless to say I ...

We made it to the painted cliffs and decided that this would be the perfect spot for our picnic, much to the surprise of every other tourist who happened to pass, who had an equal look or shock and envy that they hadn’t thought of it.

... back and watched the Australian Open Men's final. After being in Australia the last couple of weeks and going to the Open a couple of days, we both became very interested in the tennis tournament. When it finally ended today, Garyn said she was going to have tennis withdrawal and was sad that it ended. While the tennis experience enhanced my love and interest for the sport I already had, the last couple of weeks certainly made Garyn a tennis fan!

It had been a long day so we headed back to the ferry after a great day of sightseeing.

Dinner was a scrumptious meal of BBQ chicken and salad on wraps.
