Alas, tonight we are flying home. Today we walked to the sky tower and checked out the views from the top. There were people bungy jumping (see pic). Only in NZ!
After, we walked down Queen Street, a cool shopping area, to the Ferry Building and wharf. The whole area is bustling with people, shopping, sightseeing and sipping coffee at the …
Today we returned the campervan and flew from Christchurch to Auckland. I have to say, I was sad to turn in the van. I may not want to sleep in it all the time but it sure was fun.
Tonite is our last night in New Zealand. The time flew by. We still have plans for tomorrow. Our flight

Bankside is located a couple of blocks from Queens Street shopping and Britomart. The room was clean and the kitchen had the necessary supplies except a frying pan.
All rooms have a small balcony. We were on the 4th floor and had a view of the neighboring businesses. No complaints. I didn't request a great view. Manager was cordial and willing to help.
