... to LA was around 13 hours and I took a Melatonin tablet as we left in the hope of getting a good sleep on that flight but no luck and no sleep. We also took JetEase homeopathic tablets every couple of hours in the hope of avoiding jet lag. Enjoyed the food though and watched Hamish and Andy's Caravan of Courage and It's a Date. ... s and we had a snooze by the pond. We then headed back to the hostel to have our induction. 17 girls 3 boys including me. One of the boys is a 70 year old French man who's an adrenaline junkie. Went out for sushi with everyone and made friends with UK girls and a girl from Germany and the USA who were friendly.
Had a few ciders at the bar next door to the hostel (Base Brisbane) with everyone and then went out in the city in the night. ...
