Aye mates! It's been quite a while since I last wrote here.. but nothing extremely interesting has happend until this weekend. Sure lots of partying and stuff, but it's not much to tell about.
But yeah this weekend!!!!AWESOME!! we travelled to 1770 (funny name) where we lived in an almost hotel-like resort, it was so nice (we got the best rooms) with kitchen and tv and a biiig shower! I loved it. The beach (Agnes Water Beach) nearby was so lovely ...

KOALAS AND KANGEROOOS

... there presence..before we got scared and ran away. We also discovered the BEST cappuchino in the entire world at 'Jimmy's'. Its pretty anti-backpacker due to the large price but it was totally worth it.
So, on to the best part of brisbane, the part that has reserved the entire title of brisbane. KOALAS AND KANGEROOSS.
We went to this wildlife concervation park (which taylor swift has visited - (that was for annie-induced-jealousy) for (can ...

Brisbane and North Stradford Island - "Straddie"

... kangaroo on her trip, and the place was supposed to teaming with them. Unfortunately they were all hiding when she set out to look! There were also supposed to be some early arrivals of whales as they migrate past the island, and whale watching season starting in June, but these were elusive, too. The scenery of the island is stunning, and we found a great restaurant and bar that night, so we had a great time in ...

Brisbane

Brisbane from the river

... very easy experience. Later we had breakfast and then walked along the boardwalk, in the other direction, towards the centre of Brisbane. The second great idea is to make the river into an integral part of the city's transport infrastructure, with catamarans and single hull ferries taking commuters, shoppers and tourists along the winding river, very cheaply and very quickly, bringing most areas of Brisbane within a few minutes walking time from the river, easily accessible to ...

Smuggler

... I don't see how I'm ever going to make it on board the ship without suffering a heart attack. Again I decide against it and after getting through customs (and now its Barbs suitcase that is searched) we make it to a taxi and..

Problem 7: Reaching our hotel alive. Our taxi driver is a huge Maori. Although a safe driver after a few minutes we turn off the motorway and he starts driving down the back streets of nowhere. I get seriously worried - It ...

CRIKEY!....It's a ripper!

... kiss before she took the food!! (see mucky hand photo!!) they really let you get up close with all the animals! Especially the Kangaroos, we spent absolutely ages feeding them trying to get some great photos, we think we acheived this, about 172 pics later!! But they are so gentle and will just lick the food out of your hand! We also got up to scratch on our deadly snake knowledge, quite handy to know now we're heading up north to the tropics where the like to hang out! CRIKEY!!!
