Our last Land Stop
... then back to the ship. It was definitely worth the expense and hassle of taking a ship’s tour. Paul and John stayed in town and really enjoyed walking the streets of Santa Cruz.

... sia venuto qui un mese a fare il muratore e invece no....si surfa, si arrampica, si va in bosco (cazzo kili e kili di porcini amici!) e soprattutto qui si vive bene per clima e rilassatezza (si dira` cosi'? che tra inglese italiano e spagnolo non capisco piu' una mazza)
e poi i ragazzi sono splendidi (soprattutto Belen!!!) e questo, come al solito, rende qualsiasi posto un posto speciale.

24/10 we spent in Las Palmas and after discussions interviewed Ingram as we thought it would be good to have a 4th hand for the crossing, we also went out for a beer with him in the evening and offered him the berth. He would join us in Agaete 26th

Vermutlich haben die Angst, ich könnte damit den Käpt'n beschmeißen, denke ich. Die echte Begründung - Feuer auf der Kabine - erscheint mir dann aber einleuchtend.
