      ... even though my anorak was on and tightly wrapped around my face we all arrived at the island completely soaked. Now in search of a restaurant we saw signs for a ice cream shop and followed them before arriving at an abandoned shack (see photo).       ... wear your child size life jacket at all times!! 45 minutes later we're in Bocas, raring to see the sights! As you approach you begin to wonder if there was a sale on at the paint store in the mismatch colour department. My hotel is peach with bright blue trim!! Another is green and yellow, some are boring stained wood. All hotels are on stilts out over the waters edge! Cool!       ... of Panama City is the immense heat. Some days it i just absolutely unbearable. The great part about Bocas is that it is about 10 hours north of Panama City, and it is by the ocean. The weather was never too hot, and the breeze was constant.
