      ... make it hard to sleep.

      The Beach Bar for the BBQ and drinks was only a short distance further up the beach. It was very chilled out with chairs and hammocks right on the beach. They made an excellent spicy Bloody Mary which had more than a 'good' measure of vodka in it. The chef was Argentinean and he ensured that only the best beef, chicken and sausage made it onto his enormous wood charcoal BBQ grill.

      The next morning we walked down the street for breakfast/lunch and ate at a place that had a lot of American choices. We met 3 other people that were from Colorado.       Whilst on the islands we did three great day trips to different locations. I should mention that the town of Bocas del Toro, whilst located on the water, doesn’t have it’s own beach. You need to trek a little while to find one worthy of swimming.       ... in palapa roof huts on stilts. All had a different style and character and everyone greeted us, though some where quite reserved, understandably. This was not a tourist route,only a few sailboats stop here.
