It was slow morning while we waited to see if we could move to a smaller, and cheaper, room. We had to wait until the people in the other decided whether they were staying or moving on. In the meantime, we were looking for different accommodation options in the islands - we plan to spend quite a few days here but on different islands.

With a very early start, we manage to get on the shuttle and Scott survived through to Puerto Viejo for lunch - luckily the vehicle was well air conditioned! After lunch we travelled on to the border and walked across the old rail bridge (that was in great need of repair) to Panama. As the bridge is in no mans land between Costa Rica and Panama we guessed no one wants to pay to repair it! ...
