      ... downpour we discuss how it would be such a perfect little spot there on a sunny day as the water was so crystal despite the overcast and rainy conditions. But we are still glad to have gotten off Isla Colon and seen another island of the Bocas area. We just hope the weather tomorrow would be nicer with our island tour.       ... to normal price tomorrow. We were fairly annoyed about this but most places on the island were booked out so we stayed. After checking in we had a nap until about 7pm where we got some food and showered. We then went to the hostel bar. They said they were closing early for the night as it was UFC and NFL.       ... decent weather to do anything! Very strange weather, could feel sun coming through but light rain also, was quite nice as easy to drift off to sleep. But after an hour or so it started to rain, boo! Went undercover, walked to restaurant Thai restaurant guy owned to have a cocktail but it was closed! Then got local guy to show us the red frogs - they were so tiny! Rain stopped and they had a tight rope so attempted to walk on that but didn't get very ...

      This morning we were all up at 5am to catch the 6am fast ferry from Puerto Jimenez to Galfito. Bea and Alex had to go to a meeting with the local government so it was nice to have some company on the boat! Once in Galfito I got a taxi to the border; getting out of Costa Rica was easy enough but the queue to get into Panama seemed to take forever (in reality it was just over 2 hours!).

      With the first sight of the sun we headed out to El Drago beach which used to be home to the Bocas Del Toros starfish however the starfish were all but gone and replaced by beach front huts that were quick to serve you a drink on the beach. We are not the type of people to dwell on what wasn't there so we gladly enjoyed our drinks and hung out on the beach. The ...
