      ... a surf, a good hour out there, I watch, do some exercise, head to Blackrock, stash our bag in a tree, paddle out 15mins to get to the wave, suss out the waves, a little scared from the day before, Reef break, Luke into it, I'm watching from a safe area of the break, waves a little too big, chicken out, nice to be on the water though, paddle back to shore after around an hour, walk to the pier, jump into a water taxi, back to the apartment, supermarket for lunch supplies, back ...

I decided to leave for Panama City tomorrow night, again missing party at aqua lounge but my body definitely not up for partying! Cold not shifting, don't think air con in room helps.       ... of sleeping bats line the top of the cave and they screech at us as we pass, clearly unappreciative of the disturbance. We begin moving into the cave, slowly wading our way up an increasingly deep creek. Illuminated by only the glow of our headlamps, bats make fly bys uneasily close to our faces.       ... free you can go to either end port and look into being a linesman for smaller boats going through the canal. They need at least 4 linesman and boats going through are fairly frequent. Who knew??? Maybe next summer I will cruise through the canal again!! Upon arrival in Almirante you are put on the ferry, a small motorized affair, holding approximately as many people as are on the dock! Give or take a squeeze here a a slide there, 25 people or so...plus luggage!! ...
