It's hard to keep ones footing when the Jeep is rocking and bouncing, but we did stop for a while of Marmot hunting on the Magie Gulch Trail. I ran all over that hillside and those darn Marmots just jump down a hole. So I didn't catch any, but it was fun. Check out the pics. Now that Randy shared the pictures Pam has said that Marmots look like little bears. So I'm updating my blog. I'm Brown Bear hunting. Watch out ...

Train derailings and abandoned mines

The temperature dropped to 17 degrees Fahrenheit last night so I was glad we had a cabin. It was also nice to sleep in a bed.

We headed to the Old Hundred mine which is closed and now earns its money through providing tours. The clothing we had to wear looked dorky and I highly doubt woulf help much if something went wrong down there. The tour itself was entertaining and informative. I particularly enjoyed learaning about the way they used ...
