... Today we hopped on the local tram system and did some sightseeing, but temps were hot again (88 degrees) so we ended a little sooner than normal, found a pleasant and shady spot for lunch, then retired back to the cool of our room.
Tomorrow we head to the Belgian coast at Oosderend for two days, then back to catch the train to Rotterdam, Hoek van Holland, and the ferry across to Harwich, UK. More ...

The highlight of our trip was undoubtedly the afternoon trip to Bruges. It was a 12euro round trip train ride (I know, right) which got us to the amazing city in an hour. Our last full day in Brussels we spent in the in one of their six museums, which are all situated in a large set of buildings. These the magritte, fin-de-siecle, modern, wiertz, meunier and the one we looked at oldmasters.

We were fortunate enough to get in contact with a Dutch guy who said he would give us a ride from Brussels back to Amsterdam on Sunday night. So we blindly trusted a man we never met to drive us 2 and a half hours back to Amsterdam. No worries, it was fine, I'm still alive.
