Both temples made it clear that everyone is welcome - all races, backgrounds, religions etc. An ethos I really like...to me this is how religion should be - accepting of all!! I saw all types of people at the temples too - Chinese, India, Malay and Western. Some being tourist like me just taking a look around and others being true 'believers' - but all were welcomed in equal measures. ...
... and that means our plan to hop into Sumatra has been put on hold as we can only get a 60 day visa so need to spend more time in Malaysia and Thailand before we venture into Indonesia, but thats not a problem as we like both so much and means more time to relax and take things at a leisurly pace.
Ofv to a highly re ommended Indian quarter Little India later so no doubt more great food and sights in ...
How has this condo rated in the past?
Spacious room , non carpeted , service unit , location far from the backpackers area , you need to travel in car for about 20 minutes to reach town,ample of parking lots, near the Thean Hou Temple and Bukit Bendera.
