Spacious room , non carpeted , service unit , location far from the backpackers area , you need to travel in car for about 20 minutes to reach town, ample of parking lots, near the Thean Hou Temple and Bukit Bendera.

      2. Really ****** guesthouse. There was VERY limited room availability during our stay in Penang. I think it was due to Hari Raya which marks the end of Ramadan. But, the place we booked had good reviews, and cost about $33/night. So imagine our surprise when we walked into a dump of a room. Pictures show the water damaged walls. The sheets and towels were threadbare and the shared bathroom was shared with 12 other rooms and dirty. Ew. Also, ...

All I know is that for anyone contemplating taking the ultimate bungy jump without a cord there is no better place than the eighth floor. Very low barriers and I would imagine a guaranteed success rate. Just in case ...

... Tower. I had a look for somewhere to have lunch but the smells and dirtiness near the shops kept putting me off eating. In the end I went to a chain restaurant around the corner from my hostel that I chose simply because I saw it served Roti, a dish Wing told me to order while in Malaysia. When I ordered a roti tissue the waiter gave a puzzled look as he tried to explain what it was. He said it was a spun something but I didn't imagine it would look like it did. The ...
