... Lots of people were jogging, cycling and walking along the canal and we also spotted a few rowers. There is lots of open space but it is still quite industrial although this seems to be changing with lots of apartments being built near the canal. The day was a bit overcast so the pictures are also a bit more dreary looking but we were glad it was a bit cooler by the end of the day as we were pooped! The bike path runs for about 15km (one way) and after getting a bit lost on the way ...

... Building. On the Sunday, I ventured out to see Times Square and took a boat tour out to see the Statue of Liberty and the famous New York City skyline. On a more sombre note, I spent that afternoon visiting the 9/11 memorial. The memorial had not been completely finished when I visited, but was still a touching experience. Salut gang!

Long time no see, euh, pardon, je suis censé parler français!

... island to the church in the present day. After I left the church and was taking a photo of the front a local lady told me about the bank if Montreal building behind me, said that you can go in and they have a museum inside. So I went in. The museum is just a one room thing, but documents the history of the bank and some of the life of Canadian currency. After my time here I walked around the old city and did some tourist shopping, before heading back to the hotel to have some ...
