    our host. It seams Jean (French for
    John) was incommunicado at work or something, and by the time we got back to
    the car, we had a parking ticket, that we didn’t much understand apart from the
    $53 price tag. We did manage to find out
    what we thought was our hosts address but with all this ambiguity we were
    starting to wonder if this was such a good idea.

    ... in 2001-2002. So we kind of already know what awaiting us, and the feeling is super good! So an Arabic-French culture, in a non-fundamentalist Islamic setting. Might learn some Arabic while I’m there, Inch Allah! And get lost in souks, in the desert, or by the sea. Learn more about cooking tagines and couscous, and other sweets, while drinking mint tea. Europe is just up there, while African safaris a flight away. You guys come with us?

    Today is the day we board our much awaited cruise on the Silver Whisper. Have just watched the Whisper berth here in Montreal around 7:30am. We are to board about 1:00pm this afternoon, much anticipation. We wandered down into Old Montreal to a cafe on the corner of Saint Jacques & Pierre, where again we met up with an Australian couple from Noosa also boarding the Whisper today.     ... must have finally cleared, me from the system. This was the easiest and quickest part of the day. A very pleasant surprise indeed! Buy this point it is now almost 5:30 p.m. back in Moncton (4:30 here in Montreal) and we are getting hungry since we had only eaten breakfast at home before leaving for the airport this morning. We find a Burger King which needs a visit by the Dept. of Health to inspect it. However, we ended up grabbing a burger, as 95% of their menu was unavailable ...
