OMG only 3 more days to go before we are off wheely bagging ( Geriatric backpacking)
we have now just about settled in the new house and are now off again.
Looking forward to travelling and hoping that you all will follow us and keep in touch...those of you who have been to the same locations feel free to tell us some good places to go !
write again when we have gone somewhere
Well here we are at a very nice site, all singing and dancing. Our own water and waste and TV point.
The showers and toilets all immaculate and piped music!!!
We have the trailer now thank goodness.

MONDAY 21ST SEPTEMBER 2009
Well not a lot yet to report on Newton Abbot we are just chilling out a bit.
Cycled into Newton Abbot today to have a look in the shops, same shops ...
Well a bit behind with the blog due to no connection so here is a quick update.
We booked into Middlewick farm for a few days before going to Dad's and Mo's for a few days whilst "No Fixed Abode" was away being fitted with a tow bar.
The farm site was very quiet and relaxing, full of sweet smells of dung and pig poop!!!!
Truck dog Poppy thought it was great fun chasing the chickens!!

It was an easy choice considering our location, fish & chips!!
Today Friday has dawned another beautiful day for our drive across Dartmoor to Bideford where Lona grew up to catch up with her brother and numerous cousins etc. We are told it is Regatta Weekend so the joint should be jumping.
... 2 of the group were caught but only because of me, not because of the security guards.
Another of the boys who managed to get away then entered the club the following night and had the cheek to ask me how my boys were as i passed him, sat at a table with his friends. Security have told me that they do not have cctv on site so apart from the 2 that were arrested finally, the others have got away ...
We arrived at Witheridge to spend some time with dad a Mo and collect the truck dog poppy! She had spent the week with them as it might have been too much excitement for her in Dorset.
We even got to sleep in the house in a real bed and have a BATH!! No we ...
... 17 plus, from here to the Bill will be 22 miles and then a further 7 down to weymouth, too far in daylight that is getting shorter, If I had made Brixham then it would have been a doddle to hop around the coast, other corribee sailors beware Lyme bay is a big one.

must go north so as not to get sucked into the tide for the race, and out I popped the other side, heading up to chesil beach recognising wyke regis,the wind was picking up and so was my spead, touching 6 knts
I punched in the new route, and west bay was now coming down in the eta, from 2100 down to 1720, this was good, wind still picking up.
Time flew by and so did the coast, I was now ...
Little Ted and his friends arrived at Heathrow airport. From there they drove back to Devon. Miss Williams checked her email and to the friends' delight, they had received an email from Barnaby, saying he would be flying home in the next few weeks. After a long journey and the exciting news Little Ted was exhausted so he curled up and went to bed.
