Meh. This place looks like an old apartment building. The only redeeming quality is that it's on the Boardwalk. The weird thing about the room we got is that there is a window to the bathroom with mini blinds attached to it. Talk about awkward! Other than that, we got a queen bed with a full murphy bed in a tiny room.

... s lens its difficult to discern why it was ever famous.

Being a fan of the TV series Boardwalk Empire, which is set in AC during the prohibition era, as well as The Sopranos and other mobster based productions I was expecting guns, gals and gambling.....maybe even a Tommy Gun!

Instead we walked into a virtual ghost town, in fact the day before our arrival Donald Trump had officially closed the doors on his Taj Mahal casino. The boardwalk is ...

... to Atlantic City, but I was really not impressed with what was there. The tourist area was minimal and there were no souvenir shops as far down as I walked. The only thing available to me was a shopping mall along the beach where most of the stores had closed so it looked minimal. There were also restaurants and Casinos, but really, I had no desire to waste a fortune trying to score big.

Friday morning the sun was out and we headed to the beach. We had a great setup and an awesome day at the beach! Of course we're all wiped out now but ready to do it again tomorrow!

Today was an exciting day! We began by driving to Brick Town, New Jersey where Tommy was born and lived until his family moved to South Carolina when he was two. The home on Kettle Creek Drive was built by his father and grandfather right on the waterway. We stopped at the home and Tommy asked the owner if we could walk out back to look at the dock and boats. The home was neat with its cedar shake siding, but the owner really ...
