Avalanche Ranch Hotsprings Resort
... of a mountain. We were greeted by two Golden Retrievers so we felt right at home.
We got settled into our cabin and hit the hot tubs. What a beautiful setting. After a very relaxing soak in the springs we headed back to our cabin for a quiet evening. I cooked dinner. We drank wine and we enjoyed the peace and quiet. There is no internet, cell phone service or tv here. It is like Heaven.....with spring fed hot tubs :)

The Last Hurrah!

All in all, it was disappointing to see it neglected in this way, but I do understand that it is expensive to run and something does need to be done. We shall see what happens in the future now that it is under the Rocky Mountain Institute.
