    ... so it was good to actually see the coastal road. As we neared Cairns we started to pick up the signs for the falls. This was up a main road that wound it's way up the mountain in the direction of Kuramba?? We had some concerns because as we went along it was getting gloomier as we entered the cloud layer.     ... m for check-in which was a little early. It took ages to get through the airport because I had to check-in luggage in which I had plenty of oversize items, then I had to go through customs which had one of the longest queues I have ever seen in my life! But eventually I got through and I was just waiting for the flight.

    Doing the bike tour, amazing views over the city, and volunteering for volunteers for peace were my 3 highlights of this ...

    ... but the effects were minimal just felt a but soft. We do however have a bit in the dash for when we get to Noosa and the Islands :)t After getting back to the hostel, we left for the Gold Coast, checked in then we took a look around the city of surfers paradise. It looks to be an pretty cool place with big shops right in the beach, will defiantly need to spend more time here the next trip ...

Weeks had gone by after realising he has lost a pair of his fancy leather flip flops back in Byron, when one day whilst nabbing some free cafe wifi internet he glared over to spot his beloved brown leather flippy flops in the front of someone's bicycle basket!     ... so the queue was the longest but as the water park is positioned next to a ranch I spent the time in the queue peering at the horses and catching some sun.
