We headed down to Spokane today to catch an ice hockey game with the Schultes we also got to visit Cabelas and The Buck Factory. We also stopped at The Outback Steakhouse. We did nothing but giggle our asses off all day it was fun. We spent an hour or so at Cabelas, we bought some gifts for Len, Bobbi and Justin. It was definitely an experience. There were so many cars in the parking lot. I helped Len and Leatha pick some gifts out too. ...

Spokane Airport at 5 a.m. is crazy. Second lesson. The line for TSA screening was awfully long and slow. I was randomly selected to go through their special line that doesn't have to take off shoes, take out computers, etc. Made the process so nice and easy.

Final day. With the late night at the concert yesterday and no real rush to get to Denver we slept in and packed our suitcases for our flights home. About 10AM we set off for a Starbucks in downtown Cheyenne. Along the way we viewed the downtown all spruced up for the Frontier Days visitors. We passed by the State capital as well. Starbucks was packed with tourists and locals. You know Cheyenne is ...

We're in Washington! After a very long day of driving we made it to Spokane. It felt so good to be driving among the mountains and evergreens. This morning as we left Essex, MT. the weather was cool and a little foggy. The air was so fresh and it felt nice to be heading home. We've seen so much of this great country, but there is no place like home. ...

      I AM AN IRONMAN!

... worse and worse. The bike course was not easy. It was two out-and-backs that you do twice. The first time through was pretty much excruciating, not for my legs, just for my head. I couldn't think about anything except how badly my head hurt and that was a tough way to go through 60 miles of a grind of a bike course. During the first part of my second loop, I stopped to refill water and take some ibuprofen. Within about 10 minutes of taking it I felt like a new person, back ...
