... in not so good weather. In between rain showers we managed to see the main beach and get to the windy lighthouse at Cape Byron which had stunning views of wild Tallow beach below. We ate out at Earth and Sea pizza that night which was really good (I don't think we've had any bad food in Australia) and then we did some window shopping. The left over pizza stayed in the hotel fridge for a day or 2 and made an unwelcome appearance on a drive to Noosa where the combination of stale ...

... was about to come. About 4pm it came in a flash at 25 knots, and by 6pm we were seeing almost 40 knots at the seaway? I decided to pull it all down, which was easy and done in record time. It blew hard all night, and by 9am we were back to a beautiful day. important for us. The light they shine
is very helpful in science research, for example, using that light when doing
procedures and for the environment. It
is natural light that does not produce any heat with it so it is very
    eco-friendly. This light shinning is
called bioluminescence. We were not able

... walk away was a shopping mall and Woolworths (a supermarket chain) which stayed open until 10pm. We self catered but kept things simple like cooked chicken and salad and pizza for evening meals. We also had a takeaway from a Noodle Bar but it wasn't as good as previous ones in WA and Brisbane. All too soon our 4 days in Broadbeach had come to an end and after a late checkout we left the Meriton behind en route to Nerang just a mere 12.5 km away. We were going to spend 4 nights ...
