    ... before the coach groups to witness the Ayers Rock sunrise. We saw amazing colour changes as the sun came up, only as soon as the sun came so did the flies! Then we completed the Mala walk which took us right up to rock face, passing aboriginal art carved in to the base of the rock along the way.     ... walk away was a shopping mall and Woolworths (a supermarket chain) which stayed open until 10pm. We self catered but kept things simple like cooked chicken and salad and pizza for evening meals. We also had a takeaway from a Noodle Bar but it wasn't as good as previous ones in WA and Brisbane.
