... the first time in months. We bought groceries, cooked our own meals and enjoyed having downtime and watching the Australian Open on TV.
We spent two days at Dreamworld, one of the many theme parks in Gold Coast. The girls loved going on all of the rides and the favorite had to be the dreaded Tower of Terror! The following day John stayed home and Gretchen took both girls to the water park attached to Dreamworld. It was a fun day but logistically ...
... of course, I still want to try ;)
Also managed to make friends with a parrot, well I made friends, he's still thinking things over...but he'll be back!
Couple of wee lizards hanging about, but nothing to frightening.........yet~
Lots of time in the pool these days.....it's HOT out there!!
Anyway Elliot lives over here so he came to get me and we headed to the Q1 tower which had some ammmmmmaaazing views from the top of Surfers Paradise :-)!!! A nice chilled our cider at the top of the tower was what I needed along with watching the sky being lit up by thunder and lightening :-)!!
Next stop food and I was treated to a very nice Indian so thank you Elliot for a nice evening in Surfers!!!!!

I know Monday happens every week, but it always comes as a bit of a shock to me on a Monday morning. Woody is, as ever, fabulous. Noah and I, as ever, are well intentioned, a bit chaotic, and running late.
I do, however, manage my 2 stages from my 3-stage breakfast of virtue. This is good.
We make it to swimming. We leave vaguely on time but unexpected and unappreciated ...
