Day 11 - Pacific Pines - Corindi Beach

A travel blog entry by robmauger on Jan 19, 2015

Travelling days are always stressful. We stopped at Evans Heads for a nice picnic. It was all downhill after that, it's probably best not to say anything but adults not good, children fine. This trip is going to be a test of everything. Tomorrow is another day but not any old day it's children's birthday. No pictures no funny stories this is a day to ...

We basically plan on heady off south along the coast. We plan on travelling between 2-4 hours between stops, starting from home. At one stage I thought shed ask for the rest of the bottles as a take away.

    Another great day ticked ...

... loyalty, there. A schooner by the way is the standardised volume of draught lager sold in Australian drinking establishments, somewhere between a half and a whole pint. Light and lively is how I'd describe this variation although my positivity may well be misplaced as I'd had a few prior to this. Not quite as impressive as the Pale Ale we'd sampled in Newcastle, but decent enough this Mild Ale comes in at a very respectable ...

... enjoys nothing better than a thrilling 30 second ride down a water flume. After a 45 minute drive along the coast and heading in land we reached 'Wet & Wild'. Parking up and queuing for 30 mins we finally made our way to the locker section, stripped off and blinded the Aussies with our startlingly white limbs slathered in SPF 30 waterproof sunscreen :-) I decided to leave my flip flops in the locker. Mark decided to take his with him. Who made the best decision will ...
