Up early to throw swimmers, surfboards & suitcases into the ute for our trip up the coast to Alexandra Heads. Amazingly both cars were packed up & we were on the road by 8.30am. What wasn't so great was the sky above; thick grey clouds & rain. Just hoping that our destination on the Sunshine Coast lives up to it's name... Or our money back?!! Having taken the new freeway tunnel to the north of Brisbane, Steve Irwin ...

We are staying in a house set in 5 acres, which wouldn't be beyond our budget out here, and you do feel that there is more room to 'breathe' compared to our crowded island and constant over development back home. But the top activity for me has to ...

... crocodile, the mad trainers tempted the crocodile out of the waters making it angry to show us what the animal did when it was hunting. The trainers were made as they were properly making the crocodile angry but then giving it what it wanted when it finally did what they wanted it too. The show was finally over and we had one more section of the zoo to go! The zoo was huge so we quickly went round and saw ...

... at the beach, then we had lunch there again with Pam and Dougie, could get use to this life, just need a benefactor ...

We have dinner at our place provided by Yuki and Norm one night and another night Pam and Doug bring dinner in. Another night we go to Yuki's new apartment for a seafood dinner. Man it's nice when I don't have to cook, and so nice of our friends all giving a hand. John and Judy pop in with mags and afternoon tea before they ...
