... tyre. Now how do I get to the spare, never had to do this before, and don't want to have to do it again. Nerves shot we pull back on the highway and continue to travel to Alexandra Headland. Lots of traffic everywhere! Not used to this. We are wrecked by the time we get to the park. Despite the nerves, the Sunshine Coast is pretty and we enjoy ourselves, taking long walks along the beach. We drive into Noosa for lunch ...

We got a lift in a website called co seats. This is where you can get a lift with people who are going to the same place and you just chip in for petrol. So we went to Noosa with a German couple. We arrived at our hostel and it was really nice. We had a stroll into the town and had some lunch. We had a walk down to the beach. It was a really nice little town. We got caught in the rain going back. Skype pappy for Father's ...

In the evening we went to a highly recommended restaurant at the next beach resort and finally had the local speciality, the unappetisingly named "Morton Bay Bugs" - ...

... up from the shore to the road. Every once in a while it opened up to a beach. Noosa Heads has a national park with walking trails and you may be able to see Koalas. We didn't go onto the trails since it was late in the day. We plan on returning. We did stop at the Laguna Lookout for a spectacular view of the Noosa Area. As soon as we parked I saw a wild turkey. I thought I took ...

... else must have thought the same thing. It was almost impossible to find a parking spot. Boy, I knew they were popular, but didn't realise just how popular. We have been asked to do another house sit in September for 4 or 5 weeks. This time near Coffs Harbour. After that we thought we might head down to Victoria, as the weather should be starting to warm up a bit by then. I know you'll enjoy these photos Barb and ...
