Sadly the weather didn't quite live up to initial promises, so Monday & Tuesday were spent chilling by / in the pool & exploring the local area, while avoiding the showers. The highlight however was taking Ollie to the beach to jump the waves. He absolutely loved it. He was throwing himself into ...

Woke up at 8 so we could get a decent nights sleep in tonight, ready for our camping tomorrow seeing we have to leave the hostel at 7am!!! God help us!! So we got up showered, ate breakie, packed our stuff up but left half of it at Davinas so we didn't have to carry it and only took the essentials! Travel like proper backpackers now, more excuse to go shopping! Ha. Then Jeff and David dropped us into Brisbane city so we could catch the bus to Noosa for 2pm. It was only a 2hour ...

Now watching the idiot box and typing up this blog. All in all I only covered 212km today as the crow flies... More actually with backtracking and stuff so not sure where to go tomorrow... Bundaburg is only 268km up the road and I don't need to be there for another two days. Maybe ...

My host in Noosa, Justin, text me whilst I was on the greyhound on the way here to say that he'd had an idea; he had a Swiss guy, Swen, also staying with him who wanted to do the coastal track at the Noosa National Park, headland section, and I'd already told him that I was planning on doing this trail whilst I was in Noosa, so he offered to pick my bags up and drop me and Swen off at the start of the coastal track whilst he dropped his daughter off at her mums. It sounded ...
