          ... only met other American's for the majority of our time at the Gold Coast.

          It was very nice to explore city life and see other Americans, however, I am missing my own uni. I feel that in order to truly get the Australian experience you need to spend time in a less populated country town like Wagga. Although it is huge, it seems small and homey.

          Happy New Year to all!!


          Getting back just a few weeks before Xmas & then rushing off to catch up with family in Auckland for Xmas left me with little time to get cards & emails out.           ... Rich. We decided to go to the first Imagine dolphin show and what a show it was. The dolphins were unbelievable, a real presentation of what dolphins can do. Afterwards we went into Castaway Bay and went on the little boats. You have to wind and shoot water out of the guns but it is pretty hard work, at the same time you are being fired upon by bystanders along the way. You end up being totally defenceless and drenched!!           ... problems with the boat so slept fine. All good so far made our way down the canals no problems and got a text form my Aunt that a storm was on its way! We were watching the cloud build up & suddenly it hit us torrential rain! Thankfully it only last about 30 mins by which time I went down below the boys got sopping but we arrived at the marina and the sun came out.
