    ... the group of 40 was going on a field trip, taking the tram to an Archaeological site.





    While the big girls are at camp, mom gets Tessa time! It is so awesome and unusual to have many hours to kill alone with Tess. We frequent the library, the market, neighborhood parks, and internet cafes where Tess watches a show while I do my Edgewood work.

    ... stop was Bocairent, of bull ring fame. Approaching it on the highway, the village looked fantastic as it rose steeply from a ravine, like a mini-Toledo, but we were going too fast to stop for photos, but promised to be back. We crossed the ravine to the village, and climbed through narrow and steep, but not ridiculous, streets ton a plaza with a fountain and views of the church on the hill, where we found a good parking spot.     ... Altea, Alicante (N38 34'40" W0 3'54"). An ACSI site, initial thoughts are, it is a bit big, but, it is right on the beach, so, we will reserve judgement.

    Altea is the next town north along the coast from Benidorm, but, it appears to be quieter, or, more boring, depending on your point of view.
