    ... to the place.   The monument area is the park center and it had amazing views of the city of Barcelona all the way down to the sea.  It has Gaudi's Modernista aesthetic all over with mosaic glass, curves in the design and plays on nature.   Now that I have spent a day with Gaudi, I feel like an expert.  It is incredible to see how one man shaped the city of Barcelona.  This really helped me put the whole story of the city of Barcelona ...

    ... and enjoy the colourful food stalls and lively atmosphere. The old town is a strange place with medieval building housing quirky shops in narrow lanes.     ... grabbed my bag from the guy's room and found a train to Valencia at 10 AM. I booked a hostel, vented to a friend back home about the night, and went off. No sleep, just frustrations. I took the long way to the station to kill some time and arrived an hour later.
