The end of Budapest/ adventures in Venice
We spent a faboulous few days in Budapest: firstly, we decided to visit Castle Hill, the medieval area of Buda across the Danube from our hostel in Pest. We firstly ventured into yet another Hapsburg palace, this one the Hungarian National Gallery, which went down a storm. The museum was split into three sections- the ground floor being Renaissance, gradually modernising up to the top floors which were full of up to date art which was found somewhat less offensive than ...
Day 2: Venice - St Mark's Square
... on Tripadvisor and I had booked a table with them weeks before the trip. Horrible choice. Not only was this the most expensive meal during my two weeks trip in Italy, the food was also the worst. Jacci took about 50 pics yesterday as the light changed so did the ambiance ...
Venice's famous Rialto Bridge!
