... we would go and look at the mechanicals on the other side of the river. Hopped on the tram, walked over the bridge and found guess what - closed on Mondays! But we had a fabulous sightseeing day - the Chateau, the cathedral, the fountains and the pavement cafés. Home on the tram for a peaceful evening, ready for visiting Sue and Tony Berridge tomorrow.
... up to 4 people. Hey Boris! How about making London travel so cheap and simple? Got to our pitch and put up the satellite - it whizzed round for ages. ... that was free and open to the public) and shopping through the old town while stopping at one of the numerous 'places' (public squares) for a drink and to people watch. Our diner destination was called La Cigale, it was located on one of the most impressive squares in the city and the interior is extremely ornate, it was like walking into a museum. Dinner was another extravagant feast for the senses that lasted 3 hours.
Our first super long train ride of the trip. The ride from Paris to Nantes seemed to take more time than physically possible. Once in Nantes we had a layover before our next train ride and were able to explore a absolutely gorgeous park. You can look at the photos and let your imagination fill in the rest.
