Living in madrid is pretty exciting. It's bigger than both alton and durham, and has literally several shops and other marks of modern life. It's a bit overwhelming at times, but there's a really cool park with loads of trees and that that I go to to chill out. Miss loads ...

... the amount of bus stops and literal buses. After about 5 minutes of asking bus drivers where Line 10 was, I found the stop and boarded the bus. Believe it or not, there were actually less "weird" people than you'd expect on a late-night bus in Madrid at 3:30 in the morning. Furthermore, the bus ride was smooth except for the fact that I missed my stop by 1 stop. I trudged up the street and made it to my bed, only to wake up in about 6 hours for class ...

... j'en etais a mon dernier repas en Espagne, j'ai decide de manger ce que j'aimais le plus de l'Espagne, soit une bonne paella de fruits de mer. Miam miam miam, je me suis regale. Rendu a ma chambre, j'esperais etre aussi chanceux que la veillle et d'etre capable de voir un match de la Ligue des champions, soit le match de l'Atletico Madrid ou celui du FC Barcelone. Malheureusement, je n'ai pas eu cette chance, je me suis donc couche assez tot.

So the night before last, we went to sleep around 1230am...super early by spanish standards. Nick figured we´d be up by 930 or 10...but i set an alarm for 1120 just in case. we had to be out of our hostel by 12. next thing we know its 1120 as the alarm goes off and we are both sound asleep. nick admits he didn´t figure into his equaiton that we hadn´t slept more than 6 hours ...

... all I loved Spain and would definitely return. My favourite city is Barcelona but Spain as a whole would be a nicer place to visit in the summer. There are many more events and festivities but with that comes many more tourists. I have no idea where my next entry will be from. I start University on April 1st and I want to settle in before University starts. Then again, I have had offers to visit people in Berlin, Toulouse and Prague. Who knows!
