    ... walking around. I was able to get a picture of it (from a distance). A little girl also kept peeking around the corner at me as well. She would peek, then smile and then hide behind a wall. It was cute.

    "Girl, You're my Angel" by Shaggy is currently playing in the background as I type this blog. Now, if anyone is going to give you a tropical groove, Shaggy is the one to do just that. :)

    ... used to and is so juxtaposed to how friendly everyone is here.

    Although there is little violent crime in Costa Rica (much less per capita than the U.S.), there is some crime of poverty, pickpockets, etc. Not surprising when you think that a stolen phone might feed one's family for a week or month.

    I do like it here and could see ourselves coming back again notwithstanding there being so many places in the world I'd love to ...

    ... walk through the town, to suss out where the main things were, then grabbed my book & headed to the beach. I watched the surfers show off their impressive skills - still might see if one of the fitties wants to teach me tomorrow :) then took a nice, long walk along the beach & back before having the biggest burger ever & a very yumi mango smoothie mmmmmm! Up at 7.30 this morning for a run along the beach before it got too hot, only my third run since travels started but ...
