Hello!

My trip to Paris was very by the book. Aer Lingus flight from Chicago to Dublin departed, at 8pm on Thursday, was long but I slept most of the way and there was a lot of leg room even though the person in front of me decided to put their seat back the whole trip (pet peeve of mine, but I was fine :)). ... It looks like a barn or something I would see in the middle of nowhere. That did not stop people from lining up to buy the expensive tickets! We walked down the red light district of Paris and I am glad I was there during daylight! Very creepy place at night. I then had my first Parisian meal! For those of you who have not yet visited Versailles, go in the late afternoon when the crowd of 65,000 for the day has largely abated and do not go in the heat of summer as Marie and Louis may have had servants, food and entertainment on demand, but they did not have air conditioning.
