Well, a slightly slow start this morning but at least the weather is a little finer in Amsterdam! Plan for the day is to visit some museums and the Anne Frank House. Setting off relatively early we headed to Ms Frank's and frankly that girl has become too popular for her own good! The queue for a ticket was 1500 people long and snaked a long way around the streets of Amsterdam. I've been before and Craig decided he didn't need to see ...
... one more time. This turned out to be probably the most perfect day I've experienced in quite awhile :)
Friday brought a new treat for me. The lady I'd rented the apartment from offered to drive me to Volendam (about 70 km away), since there weren't any easy buses or trains for me to take there. We had a great time chatting on the way there, all during our walk through town, during lunch, and the drive back. I love meeting new, interesting ...
... so far with no transportation at all, just walking, and it's been grand. We have another day here tomorrow, and I'll fill you in on our complete Berlin experience when we return to Geneva on Wednesday. I'll also add pictures, since I am unable to do so through Em's iPad.
Until then, we'll be avoiding Hamburg and sampling German beer! Though we're bummed to be missing Norway, we're enjoying our time here and are grateful to have the flexibility of a Eurail pass.

The couple of nights we spent in Bruges were a lot of fun. We had the chance to hang out with some really fun younger people all exploring the world like us. It gave us a little boost as we headed into the capital, Brussels.
