Another day, another country
Lovely meal once more last night, goulash for me & schnitzel for Mick. From where we sat I could see Mozart's birthplace but, I still didn't go in, I'm afraid.
It was still gloriously sunny so we went for a walk near the river before even thinking about bed. Woke to more sun, can't actually believe it but, very grateful.

Island in the middle of a Lake: Bled
Early in the morning we went to the salt fields. Since it was the off season there weren't any workers there but it was still really cool to see. We got to take a tour with our guide (who showed us the whole city throughout the week) and see a video with the process of how the salt is harvested. Summer Toboggan
... hell, why not?! So strapped in to a little kart each, they kind of sit on top of a single metal rail track which winds down the mountain. You just have a little handle between your legs to push forward to go and pull back to brake. Here we go!!

Bovec rafting

Once finished we transferred back to Bovec and then began our drive towards Kranjska Gora. Whilst in the Soca Valley we stopped at a few bridges to observe some different sections of the beautiful river. We then chilled out for a bit on top of the world at Vrsic before making it back to our room. Both pretty shattered we decided on another picnic dinner (also because we probably couldnt stomach another pizza!) and a relaxed evening.
