... out with a couple beers - no point in stressing about it, right? Well - there may have been some swears thrown in for good measure, but we figured we'd find out what our options were at the train station. So after the tour Vanessa and I hung out in Alexanderplatz at 'Alex Oase' (sooooo many Alex's) with some Pilsner at our side while Ben and Alex visited a tech store until we grabbed a cab to the train station.

... experience sometimes you don't want to share a room and a bathroom with 7 strangers, and even if they're lovely friendly strangers who soon become new friends it's nice to be with someone who already knows you, and knows you well. We began "under the horse's tail"- literally at the foot of a statue of Good King Wenceslas sitting on his enormous horse. This statue sits at one end of Wenceslas Square, the heart of the Czech Republic's political history. Here we learned about the Velvet Revolution when communism was finally overthrown in 1989. We walked along the huge boulevard and had lunch here before jet lag finally caught up with us.
