Historical Traveler Reviews Paraiso Ten Apartments Benidorm
First time we have been to Benidorm and enjoyed it very much as there is so much to see and do, Children of all ages are well catered for. The Paraiso Ten Apartments are very clean, the only downside is that the rooms are only cleaned twice a week, (Mon & Wed). Staff there are very helpful including Barry the Rep. Must go to see Mundomar, excellant day out especially the dolphins. Terra Mitica is another excellant day out, with rides for young and old. Limon Express trip has great views more for the older person. Peacock Island (Benidorm Island) well worth the trip just for the views and submarine. Medieval Night is o.k the night goes very quickly and you are rushed to eat and drink. Aqualandia was shut in October but I here is another good trip. The Old Town is well worth a visit. Taxis are cheap like the beer.
There is lots of Good restuarants nearby, Wooky Hollow was one of the best and Ortellos (very Cheap and filling).
The beaches are very nice and well catered for the kids, (playgrounds and sand art all around Levante beach). there are plenty of fish for snorkellers with a drop off point along about 30 yards out by bouys.
All in all a very good holiday!
First time I had been abroad... and didn't know what to expect so I can't really compare other hotels, the staff were so nice! cept the older guys on reception didn't like me falling in drunk.. The pool is lovely, but just a bit of advice.. get there early and then go back when you want too.. as the sunbeds they hire (1.50 a day) get filled up quick and you can be behind the hotel shade if you get a --- place.
The shops are ok.. the cafe's/restraunts are nice.. but don't go to "mr beans", looks like a uk cafe but its spanish and the worst food i ever tasted! you'll see this cafe every day!
two i'd reccomend is Wooky hollow 2 on way down... then also warwickshire arms and blackpool/wigan pier.... they the best in the whole place and also quite cheap!
If your looking for entertainment.. go to Billy's... always a notice board on the road everyday nr. hotel saying whats on... comedians... hypnotists...singers...comedy acts... it's excellent there.. also eyes down is there every nite! (which i never played!!)
beach is beautiful with boats you can hire for an hour.. well worth it.. slide on back.. brilliant.
AND I HAVE TO MENTION IT... AQUALANDIA!!!
best park i ever been too... its brilliant.. and if you wanna get a tan.. go there... salt water whips u up a lovely tan!
hope this review is helpful...

paraiso ten is a good place to stay it has all the
requirements you need except for entertaiment
which is available not far away. The staff are very
friendly and helpful and the maid service is excellent your rooms are cleaned twice a week if
you want to know where to find entertainment you only have to ask paul and john the bar staff they are brilliant. The one thing against the place is you have got to pay for the sunbeds otherwise it is a
nice place to stay.
Was pleasently surprised. Very clean appartment with everything you would need, appart from aircon but could hire pedistal fans from reception for 1.8 euros a day (we got 2). TV in room priced at 50 cents for 45mins.
Travellers cheques changed at reception with a good exchange rate and no commission charged for our sterling cheques.
lifts are a bit slow and hot but you get used to them.
Bar staff are friendly and very helpful, pizza's and toasties available to eat , which is all you need as loads of eating places nearby.
The muggers ally behind the hotel is not as bad as some of the reviews I have read. Its basically a dirt track between the hotels and large open waste ground. We only had call to walk down there once. It is a quick route to the Wednesday and Sunday market place, which is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. It starts packing up at about 1:30pm so get there after 1pm for the best haggling opportunities.
Our rep advised us not to use this road at night, so we didn't. But you do not need to as everything is the other way.
Internet access in foyer priced at 50 cents for 15 minutes.
Shared pool behind hotel was just a short walk across the carpark and was clean, busy and fun.
Excelent holiday and would definately stay there again!
Disapointed at times
Went to paraiso 20003 staff was excellent , but no entertainment day or night, rooms where clean also no mention of sun bed charges, if you go try tommys bar great entertainment all week a must.
Great Holiday For All
I have found the Paraiso 10 to be a very clean and very well kept appartments. Although we were on the 23rd floor, after the initial shock and touch of vertigo me and my family settled in nicely. It's surrounded by supermarkets and souvenir shops and there's a great english pub/club just round the corner = TOMMY'S. The staff in the reception and the bar are really helpful too. All in all a great holiday.
First impressions last
Never having been to Spain before, I was aware of some horror stories, but the Paraiso was clean and comfy and had toilet roll, a fantastic shower and a heater! the toasties from the bar were good too. More towels woulda been good tho....but am just a fussy so and so....I`d definitely go again
The Paraiso is a great place. It is well situated for all the things Benidorm has to offer! The bar is good 'cause it opens 'till late, and all the staff are very friendly, especially Jason! The Paraiso also has the most friendly Thompson Rep in Benidorm!
Loved the place
Have been to benidorm quite a few times before so i love the place, the appartments were very good and very well equiped, Maria was very helpful nothing was to much trouble, but victor was a miserable so and so, but we won't let him put us off. Only one fault no air conditioning, you could hire a fan but only when they wre available.
will go back to appartments. good enterainment at Tommy's, especially when Albert Gibb was on, he was so funny. Great place to eat and value for money the Yorkshire Pride......

We have finally arrived at our destination and are now enjoying an evening on the terrace in Casa Verde! So far we have settled in, unpacked, spotted some geckos and mountain goats and began to think about our exciting plans for the next fortnight! Tomorrow we are all looking forward to starting off our sun tans in the sun of ...
... the air conditioned car for the drive home. I went back to the municipal pool to cool down and read my book. Then it was back to Casa Cronk to pack our bags ready for the trip North to Andy and Julie the next day. The evening was spent playing games over snacks and drinks with a final carajillo de Baileys at the Avenida bar before turning in ready for an early start the next ...
Another hot sunny day started with the, by now, customary freshly squeezed orange juice to accompany a healthy breakfast of Greek yoghurt and cherries. Ok, plus a croissant or two. We headed in Xabia, a fairly large town with a long, deep beach that, as this is now high season, was pretty crowded. A few weeks ago it was more or less empty. After drinks at one of the many bars and restaurants along the promenade we headed off to the quieter 'private' beach we went to ...
Nice slow start to the day. Freshly squeezed orange juice made from local oranges with fresh mango and pineapple, with croissant, jam and coffee. Heaven! Shortly after we headed to a local bodega to taste some wine. Then had a coffee in the pretty vine covered garden of a local restaurant. I do like Spanish coffee. Back to Casa Cronk to pack a picnic then off to their 'private' beach ...
As we drove out of Granada having thoroughly enjoyed our stay, our only plan was to head across to the coast and start making our way north. It was only when we stopped for lunch and pulled out the map that we randomly selected a seaside village by the name of Calpe situated near a point along the Costa Blanca between Alicante and Valencia.
The drive was once again visually splendid and diverse. Having left the Sierra Nevadas behind we continued to roll from ...
