Day 7
... time! I can't believe hat since we left Algonquin national park, we have not seen any live wildlife. A couple of road kill skunks and the only birds are a few crows. The lad who served us last night in Montana's said most of the birds have already migrated to warmer climates. The detour today was over 750km more than we should have done, the paper said they had a state of emergency ...
Exploring Canada's largest city
... they showed concerts or open air movies for free around that area.
Another thing we enjoyed, was that pianos were set up around the city, free for anyone to play, a nice idea for music lovers we thought (not that there is any talent for that pumping through our own veins ...
Toronto - Condo Town :)
... a maple leaf kinda hat. :) Bands were playing at the waterfront, people were having BBQ and little Jana in the middle of the big celebrations. I was totally overwhelmed, since the Swiss national holiday is never celebrated that extensively. :)
Well, after I ran through the whole programm, my days in Toronto were over and I was totally stoked to get to Edmonton and explore the big wilderness.

Tibet or Guizhou?
... sounds rather grim. A large military presence at every tourist site, curfews in the markets, frequent road blocks and police checks of both foreign tourists and Tibetans. Many locals have lost their jobs and others their businesses, and Tibet heads into another 'drought' of a tourist season rather than its usual high season. And while the region was supposed to have opened back up on June 20, it remains 'de facto' closed for the time ...

There dining room is identical to the Great Hall in Hogwarts! We both
thought that UofT was one of the nicest universities we've seen-
definitely nicer than Harvard. They even had an Emmanuel College! ...
