... until the next bus to Stari Grad. We got some of the last seats on the bus next to a very interesting couple from Sydney, Australia. Got back to Split in time to have a good dinner close to the hotel. Bob has been ODing on cephalopods prepared in different ways. Tonight he had grilled squid. First night it was grilled octopus. We took our luggage to the town and put it in storage lockers. Then we caught the bus to Marjan forest and hired some bikes and rode a little bit around the peninsular. It's very nice with a walking/bike path and lots of pine trees. After that we sat down near the rocky beach for some lunch and r&r. Very nice spot. ... suggested we are eating too much pizza, so we avoided that and managed to string 6 days on the trot cooking our own food for breakfast, lunch and tea. This meant saving money and also eating healthy. Stace cooked up a big spaghetti using our free bottle of red for flavor, this then turned into a great night playing cards and polishing off my first ever bottle of red. Just call me Dave.
