The Up and Coming Destination

- Very nicely laid out and well-groomed city - nice parks with flowers and fountains. Very pretty
- People dress very nicely
- Very friendly people talking to me on the tram, in the shops etc in Croatian and continuing to talk in a friendly way (in Croatian) even when I said I don't speak it

3rd & 4th Day of Cruise
... so Mary, & B&T went up to the ‘Crow’s Nest ‘ for coffee and the magnificent view (we also answered quiz questions, played sudoku puzzles and Tracey & I attempted a jigsaw - i actually managed to find ONE piece!) while I went back to the sports bar to watch a little English football.

Wir machen auch noch einen kurzen Stop in Trogir mit einem kleinen Rundgang auf der Insel und einem Drink.
Um ca. 18h kommen wir in Split an. Wir haben die Villa Varos schon zu Hause gebucht - sie liegt perfekt an der Bucht und am Rand der Altstadt. Das Zimmer ist wie angekündigt direkt neben der Reception und ohne Ausblick, aber es war das letzte verfügbare.
