- each morning we would get a nice buffet breakfast from 8.30 til 9.30
- we would then settle down on a deck somewhere and have a couple of hours to read or watch the islands and scenery go by as we sailed towards our next destination.

... following day we got up semi early and headed down to the port. We purchased our ferry tickets and spent the day on Lokrum Island checking out all the sites and circling the entire island on foot. The "dead sea" was my favourite place on the island but I was too nervous to put my feet too close to the bottom as there was lots of seaweed and I was frightened of something getting me!

The Botanical gardens were a real disappointment and the hike up to the fort ...

... aftenoon - hey I'm super white, I can only take so much sun) at the beach. While the water was still pretty cold, it was a chill location, not too crowded, and the beach had a perfect view of the old town. The beach was rocky, rather than sandy, but still comfortable enough that somehow I fell asleep. Steph woke me up before I could get too sunburned. Steph alertly spotted a jellyfish which had washed up on shore and covered it with rocks, while warning nearby kids ...
