While Caleb had some school in the morning I decided to be a true Vancouverite and brave the light rain falling. The weather is still in the high teens so even a bit of rain did not make things cold. Phil whipped up bacon and eggs for a yummo breakfast. We are fueled up for the day.
It rained all night so we dash off in the hope we will be able to walk the top of the wall of the old town before the rain comes again. The forecast is for three days of thunderstorms so we will be playing cat and mouse with the weather.
The walk took us an hour and a half and had amazing views of the water and town, with the mandatory huge number of steps!

... even skinnier! Our accommodation is up on the hill with a local lady whose family has owned the property for many years. She lives downstairs, and rents the upstairs rooms (8 in total). It's nice accommodation - clean and a good size. But the biggest draw card of this place - are the incredible views!!!!! She welcomed us with a welcome drink of a local drink - Carob liqueur , and damn it was strong but delicious.
