We learned today that the residents number 30,000 in summer & drop to 600 in winter. Residents find it expensive to live here too. Shops, cafes, galleries close in winter & Dubrovnik becomes a ghost town. ... had manoeuvred both boats into the dock while they were tied together. We ended up grabbing our stuff and walking all the way up the the end of the island to a beach there. Melanie and Nancy decided to go on this blow up water park thing they had out in the ocean, but we chickened out cause we thought the water was too cold so sat on the beach and read.
