If you have been following the blog for the last few weeks you will have spotted the regular pattern of time by the coast with interspersed with trips inland for climbing. We had visited this area back in 2006 and had really enjoyed it. It has some stunning cliffs and gorges high up in the hills at around 1000m above sea level. We went out on deck as we sailed out of Copenhagen in gorgeous sunshine (but fresh wind) and took photos of the Öresund Bridge from all angles and distances and I tried to get good telephoto shots of what I am sure is the Turning Torso in Malmö. Then we went up to Windows for the Turkish buffet dinner. We had a great collection of dips - red pepper and walnut, baba ...

... were fairly laid back and relaxed (or maybe they always are). We continued on to Nyhavn where the restaurants and bars on the wharf were lively and colourful, then walked up to Kongens Nytorv, went around past the Royal Theatre and Magasin department store and walked down part of the Strøget and through to Christansborg Palace. We walked through the gates and under the tower to the Parliament building fronting the courtyard, down past the arcaded wings (one ...
