Arrival in Prague
... outfit and into gear more suited to the chilly Prague outdoors, brrrrrr. Took the metro at about 4pm (nearly dark by then) and did a two hour visit to the old town square area. Had been to Prague before so know exactly how to get there....which metro stop, where to walk, what to eat, drink, and so on. At the Xmas market in the square I had gluhwein, trdilnik (Czech almond pasty treat.....nice), collected my booked opera tickets at tourist ...

The rest of the time we are here Jim and I spend mainly wandering around the streets getting a feel of the city and the architecture. One day we found ourselves in ...
11. Bohemian Rhapsody
... affair with the All Blacks. Anyway so we spent a while there with Blair sampling the cheap and potent local beers while I indulged in more bread dumplings, garlic soup, beef goulash soup, ... before heading back to try and sleep (a bit unsuccessful for me but anyway).
Off to Cesky krumlov this morning.
Rating out of 10: 7 (??)
In a Word: Pretty
Something Interesting: Had heard Czech Republic was full of babes but Blair said he was disappointed
