      Hello...we're back!

      Yes, we were here once before last fall. Lars and I booked a two week stay in late September. It was meant to be a healthy gift to each other in celebration of our first wedding anniversary and our birthday with are only a few days apart.

      If you look back I think you find an entry around that time.

      Unfortunately we had to leave for business reasons after only one week so we "banked" the second week to use in 2015. ...

      ... of the small resort of Denia, which in turn is about 20 miles north of Benidorm. Here I saw my first oranges on trees!! In all my travels I don't think I have ever seen oranges on trees and they look lovely. I also got to dip my toe in the beautiful blue Mediterranean, though if I am being honest I was wearing thermal underwear, padded trousers, two sweaters and some heavy boots at the time.       ... which go along the length of the mar menor and we followed the path all the way to the end. There was a windmill type of building and flamingos in the mud flats. Its a nice place and the mud there is supposed to have healing properties so in the summer the Spanish people cover themselves in it and walk around.
